我们把隐私当作产品的核心：Pencils Down 是一款 100% 本地的 macOS 应用，你的工作内容永远只在你自己的电脑上。本政策说明我们收集什么、为什么、以及你的权利。
1. 官网与等候名单
当你在本网站加入等候名单时，我们仅收集你主动填写的电子邮箱地址（以及你选择的界面语言），用于在产品上线时通知你。我们不会出售或与第三方共享你的邮箱。你可随时联系我们删除。
2. Pencils Down 应用
应用读取的会话记录、成果、项目等工作内容 100% 保存在你本机的本地数据库，绝不上传到我们的服务器。提炼成果时调用的是你本机已安装的 Claude Code / Codex，不经过我们。只有你的账号信息（如登录邮箱、订阅状态）和匿名使用统计会与云端交互。
3. 匿名分析
本网站与应用可能使用注重隐私的分析工具统计匿名访问与功能使用，用于改进产品。这些数据不包含你的工作内容，也不用于识别个人身份，并可在设置中关闭。
4. Cookie 与本地存储
本网站仅使用必要的本地存储（如记住你的语言选择、是否已加入等候名单），不用于跨站追踪广告。
5. 你的权利
你可以要求访问、更正或删除我们持有的你的邮箱。请发送邮件至 hello@indiewilliam.com，我们会及时处理。
6. 变更
本政策如有更新，我们会在本页更新日期。重大变更会通过网站或邮件告知。

Privacy is core to the product. Pencils Down is a 100% local macOS app — your work content never leaves your own computer. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
1. Website & waitlist
When you join the waitlist we collect only the email address you submit (and your chosen UI language), to notify you at launch. We never sell or share your email with third parties, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
2. The Pencils Down app
Session logs, accomplishments and projects — your work content stays 100% in a local database on your Mac and is never uploaded to our servers. Distillation runs through the Claude Code / Codex already installed on your machine, never through us. Only your account info (e.g. login email, subscription status) and anonymous usage stats interact with the cloud.
3. Anonymous analytics
The site and app may use privacy-friendly analytics to count anonymous visits and feature usage to improve the product. This never includes your work content, is not used to identify you, and can be disabled.
4. Cookies & local storage
The site uses only essential local storage (e.g. remembering your language and whether you already joined the waitlist). No cross-site advertising tracking.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your email at hello@indiewilliam.com.
